Before starting her own entrepreneurial business, Elida Olsen’s retail career started at Federated Department Stores, following positions included Buyer for multiple Sportswear areas, subsequently elevated to Divisional Merchandise Manager of Sportswear, R-T-W, and Accessories at August Max, Bergdorf Goodman, ultimately returned to Federated Department Stores' Abraham & Straus division- initially as Director of Merchandising and Product Development for Menswear, then rapidly promoted to Director of Merchandising & Product Development for the entire organization- all areas of Ladies apparel, Accessories, Footwear, Menswear, Children's, Intimate apparel, Cosmetics, etc., etc.. At all professional stages she has worked extensively on Merchandising, Product Development, Design Direction, on site in myriad factories worldwide or in specific showrooms. As a team leader and team player she has spearheaded, directed, and fostered sales, visual display, production, design, advertising and licensing divisions, etc. With over 20 years of experience Elida Olsen has knowledge, ability, and worldwide contact & relationships required to "make it happen" in a very competitive marketplace.
